Each year, St. George's Preschool holds its annual fundraiser – 'The Dragon Faire.'  The Dragon Faire is not only a major source of financial support for the preschool but it is also a wonderful fun filled day for families!  It  includes game booths where children have fun and receive a prize for just participating, carnival games, pony rides, crafts, food stands, a blown up crawl-through and fabulous live music.  Dragon snacks and lunch are also available.  This event draws hundreds of families from the local communities.  Funds raised from the Dragon Faire directly benefit the children at our school by keeping playground and classroom equipment updated, providing great supplies and various enrichment programs. The Dragon Faire is our school’s primary fundraiser and each year the event’s largest source of income is the Silent Auction.  All donation need to be delivered to the preschool office by the deadline in order to be included in our event program.  However, we will gladly accept donations up to the day of the event.  In addition, those that make donations worth $75 or more will have their business card included in a special advertisement section of our event program.  This program will be distributed to over 180 preschool families and to everyone else that attends the Dragon Faire.  Furthermore, all donating businesses will receive recognition in an advertisement in a local La Canada newspaper.
